Our paths kept crossing,
we chose to ignore the obvious
You were afraid that the
colours of friendship would become fainter
I was afraid that my misfortune
would ruin our togetherness
In this play of fate 
what I feared happened
We couldn't meet one another
We cannot part from each other
All the happiness
we could've treasured is lost
What's left is the gambit of possibilities
What I feared has indeed happened
